Jo-Anne Preston is a painter, calligrapher and a carpet designer residing in New York City. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Fine Arts and Art History and has studied printmaking.

As a painter, Jo-Anne has exhibited both nationally and abroad in Galleries and Museums. Her painting inspiration comes from a unique combination of experiences living in Europe, the Middle East and the United States and her imagination. Jo-Anne has a love for pattern and the decorative arts and enjoys painting women. She is a firm believer in the importance of good drawing skills.

Jo-Anne has had a long career as an Art Director, where she has designed and rendered custom rugs for various clients including the White House, American Embassies, Governors’ Mansions, numerous movie stars, dignitaries, and cruise ships.
